Initial Psychiatric Evaluations (In-Office)
The initial evaluation is a crucial step in understanding your mental health needs and creating a personalized treatment plan. During this appointment, our experienced psychiatrist, psychiatric nurse practitioners or psychiatric physician assistants will conduct a comprehensive assessment to determine your mental health history, symptoms, and treatment goals.
- In-Person: Initial evaluations must be done in the office to ensure a full, in-depth understanding of your condition. This allows us to develop a comprehensive treatment plan that addresses your unique needs.
- Duration: Typically 40-60 minutes.
- What to Expect: During the evaluation, we will discuss your medical and psychiatric history, conduct assessments, and determine the best course of treatment. We’ll work together to decide if medication, therapy, or other treatments like TMS, Spravato or Ketamine Therapy are appropriate for you.
